There is no parking available inside Castle Park for the fireworks display. Anyone driving to the event should use public car parks in Colchester town centre, all within walking distance of the park:

We recommend arriving early as spaces are limited and demand will be high.
Yes — everyone attending the Castle Park Fireworks Display requires a ticket. However, children under 3 can attend free of charge. A free under-3’s ticket must still be selected at the checkout when booking.
All upper park gates will be open for entry to the fireworks display. For safety reasons, the lower park gates will remain closed throughout the event. Please follow steward directions on arrival.
Tickets must be purchased in advance — no tickets will be available on the gate.
All tickets are sold online and will remain on sale until sold out. Demand is always high and tickets are likely to sell out quickly, so we strongly recommend booking early to avoid disappointment.

Yes — there will be a selection of stalls offering a range of hot food, snacks, and non-alcoholic drinks throughout the evening. Perfect for keeping warm while you enjoy the fireworks! 🍔☕✨
We always advise members with a disability to place themselves near the bandstand or along the path from the café to the beacon. This area provides a solid, hard surface with an excellent view of the display. There is also a first aid point next to the bandstand, and stewards are available throughout the park to assist if needed.
